I have nothing at all to say about my time with this company. I am only doing this so that my resume can be posted on Indeed. I only worked here for nine months. Prior to , they had never attempted to truly merge the acquisitions or harmonize operations. They have been attempting to do so for the last five years and have had extremely limited success as it has been a series of unresolved conflicts between the established cultures and processes of the various companies.
These conflicts have lead to a constant churn at the executive level and at other key management positions which has hampered consolidation projects and has created inconsistent messaging, hurting efforts to develop a common workplace culture. The incomplete projects and poor communication have also caused attrition in the rest of the workforce, particularly the sales force, which has damaged relationships with customers and vendors and has hurt results. The company is aware and concerned about all of this but can't find its way in addressing the issues and getting things pointed back on an upward trajectory.
This was a fairly fair place to work for a while. The company was bought out by another company across the pond and it seemed like they lost their way. The work hours and benefits were great but they were unable to keep up with the cost of living over time.
The management got lazy towards the end of my employment and upper management issued an ultimatum that prevented anyone from advancing their career. Overall a good culture but not a great place if you want to advance your career or need a solid paycheck.
